SIMPLE LED FLASHER USING RING OSCILLATOR

A ring oscillator is an electronic circuit that uses an odd number of inverters, or NOT gates, connected in a loop to produce an oscillating signal. By using transistors to create each inverter stage, the ring oscillator leverages the inherent delay of each transistor stage to generate continuous oscillations

Its like output of one NOT gate is connected to the input of another NOT gate , and there are total number of odds number of gate. The output of last NOT gate is connected to the input of first NOT gate. So it forms a loop. 

For this project, NOT gate is built from npn Transistor. 

This is the schematic of simple led flasher using ring oscillator .  3 NOT gate are used . The NOT gate are designed using Transistor. The output of first NOT gate is input for second NOT gate.
